The Fantastic Four: First Steps is coming in July 2025

Marvel is getting good at teasing as it launched a 'Launch' ahead of The Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer. As for now, the entire Marvel fandom was waiting for the studio to finally give us a glimpse of the new Fantastic Four movie. Turns out they will need to wait a bit, too.

Fans are disappointed, but the live video shows that it looks like fun. All we can see is a retro-style image of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, where we also get a glimpse of a space shuttle. We cannot see any humans roaming around here.

There's some mysterious silence in the pre-launch The Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer

The 'launch control' transmissions just confirmed that the weather conditions are good for the launch. Today is a good day to be a Marvel fan and a Fantastic Four one, for that matter. Fans don't really have anything to do until the trailer comes. So, some were seen asking if they should look for Easter eggs.

Fans can hear in the video that this broadcast is presented by Future Foundation, formed by Richard Reed, to solve the current world problems. It has appeared in several storylines in Marvel, including Time Runs Out, Secret Wars, The Return of the Fantastic Four, and more. It seems like the MCU is taking inspiration from all of it.

For all we know about the film, it will come with a retrofuturistic punch, as we got a glimpse of a few kids running happily and stopping in front of a broadcast pointing towards a launch of something.

We have an official synopsis of The Fantastic Four: First Steps that reads,

"Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios' 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' introduces Marvel's First Family-Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ben Grimm/The Thing as they face their most daunting challenge yet."

Though we already know who is going to be the MCU's first family, other actors are in there, but we don't know who they will be playing. This includes John Malkovich, Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles.

Matt Shakman is directing the film and also directed the acclaimed series WandaVision. Fans might expect to be spellbound by this one as he did with the fictional town of Westview.
