Sophie Rain, a popular media personality, took to X to shock fans with a screenshot of her earnings from this past year. In the image, subscriptions, tips, and referrals drew in a staggering $43.4 million. She captioned the tweet:

"thankful for one year on here .”

As fans were so quick to point out, with The Tribune concurring, the figure is higher than what most runway models make, including Kendall Jenner, who was named the world's highest-paid model by Forbes in 2017. Here are some reactions from netizens:

"Man the world is cooked beyond repair."

Scores online echoed the sentiments:

"This how we are going to continue living, with no impact of shame? It’s really a pity," someone penned.
"Sophie Rain being richer than Kendall Jenner is just unbelievable," another stated.
"And they're all making millions of times more than the people in our local communities who actually provide a real service and add some value to our society. It's a sad statement about our society," a third person asserted.
"She getting paid like Lebron James out here," someone else pointed out.

The comments didn't end there, as several more weighed in:

'$50M in one year just for posting "Me or the PS5",' one user tweeted.
"Who are the men paying for this? I want names," another demanded.
"This y'all fault. I hope y'all are ashamed of yourselves," someone else stated.
"how do i become a woman?" a fourth user jokingly asked.

The masses online were visibly displeased with such a "model" earning more than them, teachers, doctors, and other well-educated professionals.

Sophie Rain's tweet has since accumulated over 73,000 likes and close to 6,000 replies. She offers users a $10 subscription to her content, though at the time of writing, she's offering a flat 50% off for first-time subscribers. As reported by Complex, the model likely makes most of her earnings through premium or personalized content subscribers will have to purchase a la carte.

Notably, this isn't the first time she has made such claims. During a recent appearance on a podcast, when a fellow content creator asked her about her earnings, noting that she's one of the most sought-after models in the industry right now, Sophie Rain hesitated.

However, the model caved, revealing that she earns a staggering 4 million dollars a month. Once again, users online were quick to point out that it amounted to 48 million dollars annually.

Just last month, fellow model Corinna Kopf divulged that she would be retiring after having earned $67 million in only three years. She later revealed that she wanted to "try and separate from it slowly," as opposed to quitting cold turkey. Bhad Bhabie, on the other hand, also revealed that she earned $71 million in gross earnings in a similar time frame, Complex reported.

As reported by What's in the Buzz, Feniz International filed a regulatory report in the UK, shedding light on its financial situation. Per the filing, creator accounts saw a surge of 29%, going from 3.2 million to 4.1 million.

Fan accounts increased by 28%, from 239,000 to 305,000. As for the gross payments, it plummeted by $1 billion, from $5.6 billion in 2022 to $6.6 billion in 2023.

Per Yahoo, Sophie Rain's earnings are now neck and neck with that of Hollywood A-listers as well, including the likes of Matt Damon and Ryan Gosling, given that the two earned about $43 million last year.
