TV personality Brittany Cartwright shared private details about her relationship with ex-husband Jax Taylor. While speaking on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on April 29, 2025, Cartwright had to score Taylor’s performance in bed out of 10. Her response was:
“Oh, Lord. There was times when he was about a 7 or an 8 but majority of the time, no stamina, no nothing. I would say a 2 or 3.”
During a polling segment in the interview, Brittany Cartwright was asked how manipulative Jax Taylor was, and she responded by ranking it a 10. This was followed by the question of whether they would ever get back together, to which she replied:
“No. A 100% no.”
She added:
“I had weak moments, for sure. I was with him for 10 years and obviously I loved him and want nothing but the best for him but he has damaged our relationship far too much to go back.”
In another segment, Andy Cohen asked Brittany Cartwright to describe the current nature of her relationship with Taylor. She shared that her relationship with Jax Taylor was still strained.
She said she hoped he was staying sober, but she wasn’t completely sure. According to her, his behavior continued to be unpredictable.
When asked about his efforts to stay sober, she said she wanted him to stick with it, especially for the sake of their son, Cruz. Although she made it clear they wouldn’t be getting back together, she emphasized the importance of co-parenting and doing the best for their child.
The red flag that Brittany Cartwright overlooked in Jax Taylor
Andy Cohen asked about the reaction after she shared Cruz's autism diagnosis publicly. Brittany Cartwright said she was overwhelmed by the positive responses and support. She realized that many other families were going through similar experiences and felt proud to become a supportive voice for the autism community.
Later, when asked how many times she thought Jax Taylor had been unfaithful during their relationship, she said she didn’t believe he cheated after they got married. However, she admitted that before their marriage, it likely happened more than just once.
With regard to the biggest red flag that Cartwright ignored about Taylor, she said:
“How he treated waiters and people in general.”
Taylor and Brittany Cartwright first got together in 2015 and tied the knot in June 2019. Jax Taylor later admitted to US Weekly that viewers of The Valley could probably tell something was off with him during the show, saying he hadn’t hidden it well.
He explained that being open about his struggles was mainly for his own sake and his son, and he hoped it would encourage others to speak up about their challenges.
Taylor also shared that he felt better than ever and avoided situations that made him uncomfortable, even though owning a bar might seem like a contradiction.
