A peek into J. Cole’s blog and “Inevitable” website
Reports suggest the blog could be a new way for J. Cole to connect with fans. Nevertheless, the rapper shared that he had wanted a smaller, more personal space to post things he enjoys, separate from large social media platforms.
Hence, for his first post, he linked to the song Back in the Day by Ahmad, which he said had been a favorite since childhood. Reflecting on turning 40, he expressed gratitude and optimism for the new year, hinting at a more sentimental post to come.
According to HotNewHipHop, J. Cole also hinted at the release of his next album, The Fall Off, a project he has been teasing since The Off-Season dropped in 2021. During a concert in 2014, he suggested that new music could be ready by the next Dreamville Festival.
The rapper’s “Inevitable” website describes the limited audio series as an honest and introspective journey through J. Cole's life, career, and personal growth. Using both released and unreleased music, he shares his story alongside Ibrahim Hamad and Scott Lazer.
