Ant-Man actor Paul Rudd was spotted distributing water bottles, taking selfies, helping to brighten the long wait for voters on November 5.

When MSNBC national correspondent Jacob Soboroff was on-air at Philadelphia’s Temple University, he spotted the actor out and about. He inquired about what he was doing there, when Paul Rudd replied,

"I just wanted to give people water. They’re waiting in line for a long time, and it’s a wonderful thing that all these young people are out voting.”

Clips of the actor chit-chatting and mingling with voters have been going viral online, and many are chiming in to commend him for being a "national treasure." Here's what one user had to say:

"I'd love for him to give me water any day!"

Several more concurred, noting that the chance to interact with the veteran was all they needed to make the brutal waiting time better.

"Me too!!!! He’s awesome. Taking selfies with them and spreading JOY," someone exclaimed.
"He purposely came in plain clothes without political identifiers for a reason. He had water for anyone in line no matter what choice they make inside the booth. Paul Rudd is classy af and does it right," someone else lauded the actor.
"waiting for paul rudd to show up at my job with coffee during tax season," one user joked.
"Paul Rudd making everyone thirsty even if they weren’t," another jested.

On the face of it, the entirety of the internet wanted more of Rudd:

"Thank you Paul!! You are a national treasure!! We love you!!" one user declared.
"Paul Rudd is the real deal," another chimed in.
"One of my favorites. Now more so!" yet another user announced.

Others reacted with a flurry of love and well-wishes for the veteran.

Paul Rudd says he wanted to tell students they're doing "great"

When Soboroff told Rudd that people had been in queues for longer than two hours, he responded:

"That’s impressive. We’ve been doing lots of stuff today here in Pennsylvania. We wanted to come out and tell these students they’re doing really great things.”

Paul was also spotted at Villanova University, which is located less than an hour away from Temple. In many images online, the Clueless actor can be seen holding up a “Pennsylvania for Harris-Walz” campaign poster.

Notably, Rudd wasn't the only one in the MCU to lend their votes to Vice President Kamala Harris. Just last week, Robert Downey Jr., popularly known as Iron Man, uploaded a video of his co-stars endorsing the Democratic ticket.

In it, Downey, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Bettany, Danai Gurira, and Chris Evans could all be seen chitchatting over a Zoom call, and discussing what would be a good catchphrase for the Harris-Walz campaign.

This isn't Rudd's first stint in caring for voters, as in 2020, he was spotted handing out cookies to those waiting in line at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, all while it was raining.
