More about Beyonce's Cowboy Carter tour
Beyonce's Cowboy Carter Tour 2025 is based on her latest album, Cowboy Carter, which she released in March. The album marked Bey's historic attempt to put a spotlight on Black artists in the country music space and transition into country music from R&B.
Cowboy Carter is Bey's eighth studio album and the second of a planned trilogy of albums following Renaissance (2022). The album blends diverse Southern sub-genres, which the artist listened to while growing up in Texas. It includes Zydeco, rock and roll, folk, pop, and more. It gained intense popularity after its initial release for featuring rising Black country artists, including Shaboozey, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Willie Jones, and more.
The album went on to debut at number one in several countries and broke chart and streaming records. In the US, Cowboy Carter became her eighth consecutive number-one album on the Billboard 200 and the first album by a black woman to top the Top Country Albums chart.
