Al B. Sure!, the late Kim Porter's ex-husband, issued a cease-and-desist order against the author of the book Kim's Lost Words on Friday, September 27. The book, penned by Todd Christopher Guzze, allegedly delves into Porter's writings about her relationship with Diddy and his alleged sexual misconduct. However, Guzze shot back at him, noting that he had proof the memoir was real.

The author of the book, published under the pseudonym Jamal T. Wood, said, per All Hip Hop,

"Al doesn’t have the flash drive, so how would he know? How does he know what Kim wrote? Be careful. Look me up. Look at my other lawsuit, 40 million in Miami. Go look at what I’m doing over there.”

Kim Porter's ex-husband, Al B. Sure!, claims the book is "the most heinous" lie ever told

According to Guzze, Al B. Sure!'s move was a ploy for attention, and he warned the singer not to “lock horns” with him. Guzze also revealed that Sure is mentioned “very briefly” in the book as someone who "eyewitnessed" the now-disgraced mogul's "nefarious activities.” The memoir also claims that Sure and Diddy shared an intimate relationship.

He then reiterated that the book was Kim Porter's real last words, saying,

"Are they going to make comments about the victims of Sean Combs? Or are they just going to focus on trying to call the memoir fake? Let’s see their statement about all the victims.”

Al B. Sure!'s lawyer also sent a cease-and-desist letter to Amazon's former CEO, Jeff Bezos, and current CEO Andy Jassy last month. According to the letter obtained by Page Six, he felt he had been "defamed by false and malicious statements published.” The singer, who shares a son with Porter, Quincy, called for a halt on all sales. The letter continued:

"Should you fail to comply with these demands within ten days, we will have no alternative but to pursue all legal remedies available, including filing a lawsuit for defamation."

The statement also asserted that all claims against Al B. Sure!, real name Albert Joseph Brown II, had been "fabricated."

"By misrepresenting his personal life and fabricating serious, false accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior, these defamatory claims have caused significant damage to Mr Brown’s reputation.”

Al B. Sure! takes to Instagram to vent

Al B. Sure! reflected on the book in a statement on Instagram, posted on September 23, saying,

"It is with a heavy heart that I reflect on the legacy of our beloved Lady KP. It is truly disheartening to think that those she considered close friends, and who were financially compensated by her perpetrator(s) may have conspired with the perpetrator to obscure the truth and tarnish her name, my name and her unfinished book notes with these ridiculous and unfounded narratives."

He continued, in the three-part post:

"The absence of Ms. Porter leaves a void, depriving her of the opportunity to address these inaccuracies personally and to share her own factual memoirs detailing the brutal terror and madness she endured. Check all who text messages of those who serve in a PR capacity as they have brilliantly and underhandedly crafted this FICTITIOUS STORY to service a personal vendetta. There’s more…. There so much to unpack."

The book, which ranked as a bestseller on Amazon, was subsequently taken down from the platform. The 59-page book stems from Kim Porter's alleged “memoir/diary,” Guzze contends. He also asserted that it was her last wish for the words to be released to the world before her untimely demise in 2018.

Albeit riddled with typos, the book allegedly narrates the tale of Diddy and Porter's relationship, as well as salacious details revolving around their intimacy. It also explored his purported adult pursuits with others in the industry.
