Lizzo is currently on a weight loss journey and recently took to Instagram to share a couple of her pictures. However, several Instagram users did not react very positively to this, even going as far as claiming that the About Damn Time singer took Ozempic to go through such a drastic weight loss journey.

Lizzo, however, did not let this comment slide and took to Instagram to post a video of herself, slamming the social media user in her caption - "oZeMpIc oR cOkE?” - a fan."

Responding to trolls suspecting that she has been taking Ozempic, a Diabetes 2 medicine also used off-label for weight loss, the 36-year-old rapper posted a video on September 21, 2024.

In the video, she is mouthing the viral TikTok line from Django Unchained, "It's like a reward." The Instagram post also has a series of pictures in which Lizzo shared the troll's profile and his comment.

"did she use ozempic or snort coke," the comment said.

In response, Lizzo questioned - "whyyyy do u follow me?" along with four crying emojis. Despite being on her journey of weight loss, Lizzo has always maintained a stand for body positivity and established that she does not aim to be skinny and takes pride in being "thick."

"Ozempic doesn't get the credit"- Celebrity trainer Corey Calliet hits back on trolls on Lizzo's Instagram Post

The pop star's Instagram post was flooded with positive responses from fans and influencers alike. Many supported Lizzo, saying they have witnessed her journey, which is commendable.

"People do realize you can lose good amounts of weight without drugs right 😭"
"I've been noticing the changes these last few months but I didn't mention it because it's 2024 and we shouldn't be talking about anyone's body. However, you look AMAZING!!"

Corey Calliet, who has trained celebrities like Michael B Jordan and Keke Palmer, has also been working with Lizzo, as he could be seen supporting her:

"Ozempic doesn't get the credit," commented Calliet on Lizzo's post.

However, others also suggested that even if she took Ozempic, that should not be anybody else's issue.

"First of all, people are way too comfortable demanding to know a stranger’s health info. Second, people realize semaglutides aren’t a magic shrinking serum right? It just tricks your brain into thinking you’re not hungry when you are. If you’re losing weight on purpose, either your brain is built to let you deprive your body/brain voluntarily, or you’re forcing yourself to eat less by messing with your brain’s hunger signals or amputating or binding part of your stomach. The result is the same. I don’t get the sense of superiority people have about doing it the “natural” way."
"And even if it WAS ozempic, ITs OKAY!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️"

The 36-year-old rapper has been very vocal about her weight loss journey and has mentioned in several interviews that her process has been very methodical, including a very strict diet and workout routine.

However, she also addressed the public judgment of her appearance, claiming that her body was nobody else's business.
