Star Wars fans and Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs) are in for a treat as this set includes 3,942 pieces and 11 Minifigures. These figures mark the end of a hiatus, as the company has not produced certain characters since 2013.

The 2024 Sail Barge includes Jabba the Hutt, Bib Fortuna, Princess Leia in the Huttslayer outfit, Kithaba, Vizam, Wooof, and Max Rebo, among others.

Here's what you need to know before buying the LEGO Star Wars UCS Jabba's Sail Barge

Let's look into the Sail Barge itself:

Jabba's Sail Barge, also known as the Khetanna, showcases a beautiful, all-tile deck. It features a cannon and two cloth sun sails that serve as the roof. The side panels can be removed, allowing a glimpse into its inner workings.

Fans will be excited to note that the barge has been crafted with precision to resemble its namesake, as seen in Return of the Jedi, which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year.

LEGO senior designer César Carvalhosa Soares told Starwars.com,

“The entire top deck has several features like hatches and stairs, cannons, and blasters and, of course, the huge textile sails that give the barge its iconic silhouette.”

The inside of the Khetanna includes its own holding cell, Jabba's room, a spot designated for the musician Max Rebo, and a cockpit with controls for two co-pilots. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, food, and even a cleaver. The model stands about 26 cm tall, 25 cm wide, and 77 cm long.

Carvalhosa Soares also noted that he and his team included several Easter eggs in the 18+ set, adding an extra incentive for fans. He told StarWars.com:

"Let’s just say that in the kitchen there are recipes for some delicious foods like Womp Rat Soup."

But wait, there's more! Regarding the Minifigures, there are a total of 11. Among them are Jabba the Hutt, Max Rebo, Salacious B. Crumb, Bib Fortuna, a Gamorrean Guard, R2-D2, C-3PO, Kithaba, Vizam, Wooof, and a new figure of Princess Leia in her Huttslayer outfit.

This is the first time in over 10 years that LEGO has released another Return of the Jedi-inspired set. It is the third and final 18+ Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) release of 2024.
