Final Destination: Bloodlines has just received a new update that will send shivers down the fans' spines. Final Destination: Bloodlines will finally see the light of the day as it comes out within months.
With that in mind, a key crew member recently shared an update about the franchise. The music composer, Tim Wynn, shared the official logo for this film on his Instagram profile. While the post was deleted later, the online sources reported what this post revealed about the film.
The chilling image in Wynn's post showed the film's title in bold letters, surrounded by blood. It teased the fans about the film's creepy appeal since the film itself would be filled with blood-soaked murders.
Wynn's caption reportedly read:
“That’s a wrap. Looking forward to this being released in the theaters this May. Grateful to be a part of this amazing team.”
Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein are joining hands to direct this project. It is set to debut in theaters on May 16, 2025, and will be available on the IMAX screen.
Final Destination: Bloodlines: What took it so long to come out?
The latest Final Destination project, scheduled for a May 16, 2025 release, marks the sixth installment in this successful horror franchise. It comes out 14 years after the release of the fifth installment. Even after the announcement of the sixth chapter in 2019, the project had to overcome a lot of hurdles to finally reach the stage of production. The project has finally received a release window, nearly six years later.
The production of Final Destination: Bloodlines was halted and delayed more than once. It came into discussion about six years ago but didn't get to the production stage due to the then industry-wide strikes in Hollywood. Eventually, it went into the filming stage in 2024 with Christian Sebaldt behind the lens. Finally, as per Tim's deleted post, it has a release window.
Final Destination: Bloodlines: Details to know about this new, chilling Final Destination project
Final Destination: Bloodlines is helmed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, who previously directed Kim Possible (2019) and Freaks (2018) together. They have taken this responsibility after Steven Quale, who directed the fifth installment that came out in 2011.
Guy Busick (Abigail, Scream VI, Ready or Not) and Lori Evans Taylor (Bed Rest, Cellar Door) have written the upcoming film's screenplay. The plot has not been revealed yet but it will presumably show people fighting the odds against their gradually approaching deaths. New Line Cinema has backed this project.
