Cardi B, the Grammy-winning rapper who took to the stage at a Harris rally in Milwaukee, hurled abuse and obscenities at Trump supporters on Instagram Live in the wake of him becoming President. Her response was a retaliation to the mockery and abuse she has been subjected to since the election came to an end on November 6.

In response to a fan's comment, one that urged the songstress to present herself at the Trump inauguration, Cardi B said:

"I swear to God, I'm gonna f**k you up, get away from me (sic). I swear to god I'm gonna f**k you up, get away from me. I'm sick of you! Burn you're f***ing hats motherf***er. I'm really sad. I swear to god I'm really sad (sic)."

Regardless, a massive section of the internet turned a blind eye to her pleas and threats, with many shooting back with their own jibes. Some even began theorizing that Cardi B's endorsement of Harris was a facade for money. One user even asked,

"Kamala asked you for a refund yet??"

The rest of her comments section was flooded with similar pointed remarks:

"You brought it upon yourself. Stay out the kitchen if you can’t take the heat," one user advised.
"Ask Kamala for a refund and a working teleprompter," someone else joked.
"No one’s scared of you. You entered the world of politics, you earned the response you asked for," another user asserted.
"still mad? ain't kamala gon pay you for endorsing her? scared that chequered might not come in?" someone probed.

The cutthroat remarks went on:

"You decided to enter the political world and get humiliated in the process. That’s the choice you made," one user tweeted.
"You put yourself out there so you get what you get as long as it's within the law. You don't deserve to be threatened or anything illegal, but you're certainly not above ridicule," another said.
"You know you should just make this account private. You will never be able to post like you use to," one user advised.

The rest of the commenters hurled abuse back at Cardi B, with many asserting that she shouldn't have thrown her hat into the ring of politics in the first place if she couldn't stand the backlash.

Cardi B swears at Trump supporters, pens a heartfelt message to Kamala Harris

In yet another video on X, Cardi B doubled down on her threats:

"Y'all won, I know y'all happy. Ain't nobody acting like bitter losers. However, y'all need to leave me the f*ck alone, because I got one more f*cking cigarette in me before I start lighting your a*ses up. That's word to the motherf*cking United States of America."

The rapper didn't stop there, as on Instagram, she penned a note to Vice President Kamala Harris, encouraging her to stand strong:

"To Vice President Kamala, no matter what they've said to bring you down or belittle your run for presidency, they can never say you didn't run your race with honesty and with integrity! You really put up a fight against all the odds that were already stacked against you! You never accept defeat as an option which says so much about your strength and about your heart. You really wanted better for ALL of us (sic)."

Her post went on:

"This may not mean much, but I am so proud of you! No one has ever made me change my mind and you did! I never thought I would see the day that a woman of color would be running for the President of the United States, but you have shown me, showed my daughters and women across the country that anything is possible (sic)."

Cardi B concluded her post by thanking Harris for being "an example" and for "being empowered." She also referred to Harris as "a real example of what the American dream should be" (sic).

During the Instagram Live, as she was battling the mockery, she stood up for the Vice President once again, noting that she's "probably emotional right now." She continued, pointing out that "there's probably a lot going on in her mind," and while she may not be "listening to this," she will eventually see it.

Cardi B's vote of appreciation went on as she asserted that

"no matter what happens tonight, millions of people are proud of her. Women around the world are proud of her. Women of color are proud of her (sic)."

She also reflected on why she believed in the Democratic ticket:

"When I looked at her face and she was talking to me, I thought she was very genuine and not playing any f***ing games. She had 100 days to do all of this, and she woke this nation up. I feel there were a lot of things that went wrong last year, and they kept her too much in the background. I'm proud of her and I hope she's proud of herself no matter what happens tonight. This is one of the most unforgettable elections and I love her. I don't say I love a lot of people. You all know that. Because I hate everybody."

Cardi B was one of over 200 celebrities who endorsed the Vice President in her bid to win the election. A-listers like Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, and more also backed Harris up.
