Jonas Brothers are joined by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fame Chloe Bennet in their upcoming film directed by Jessica Yu, as Variety reports. The actress will play Joe Jonas' childhood friend, a cardiologist. It is centered around Kevin, Nick, and Joe's journey after a tour, which is pivotal to reconnecting them.

Per the logline of the film,

"To find their way home, they’ll need to rediscover what it means to be brothers."

Joe Jonas feels disconnected from his brothers - Nick and Kevin Jonas. Now they are traveling from London to New York when this series of now-under-wrap events will happen.

This is the first proper feature film based on the Jonas Brothers

When talking about feature films with a proper story, this is the first where, interestingly, the brothers are playing themselves. There's no mention if this will be a documentary or a similar take, though it can be a mesh if that's inspired by some real-life event that the popular brothers experienced.

They've appeared as themselves in three documentaries, namely Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience (2009), Jonas Brothers: Chasing Happiness (2019), and Happiness Continues: A Jonas Brothers Concert Film (2020).

Chloe Bennet has played several roles in films, too, apart from being Daisy Johnson in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. This includes Karen in Valley Girl (2020), Emma in 5 Years Apart (2020), Riley in Married by Mistake (2023), and more. She has had voice roles in movies like Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast (2015), Abominable (2019), and more.

She was cast in the now-canceled The Powerpuff Girls' live-action adaptation as Blossom alongside Dove Cameron and Yana Perrault, who were supposed to play the sisters Bubbles and Buttercup. As of now, her upcoming project, other than this movie, is a comedy-drama film called Hello Out There.

Awards-wise, Chloe has been nominated several times, but mainly for her role as Daisy Johnson. However, a couple of those go to Abominable, including Best Animated Female in the Alliance of Women Film Journalists Awards and Best Vocal Capture in the Hawaii Film Critics Society Awards.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas appeared in separate roles too. Nick has appeared as Jefferson "Seaplane" McDonough in 2019's Jumanji: The Next Level, Joe has given his voice to Kraken in Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018), and Kevin has given his voice in a 2009 short film, namely Beyond All Boundaries.
