Former Impractical Jokers star, Joe Gatto is being scrutinized as the accusations of inappropriate behavior have come forward by an anonymous second accuser. The latest allegations follow shortly after a TikTok user alleged that the comedian sexually assaulted her, an allegation Gatto has denied.

In the wake of these allegations, Gatto’s spouse, Bessy Gatto, appears to have deactivated her Instagram account, further adding to speculation about the situation and her relationship with the comedian.

Bessy Gatto, who has shared the spotlight with her husband since their wedding in 2013, appears to have stepped back from social media. Although her Instagram account and bio still appear in Google search results, clicking on the link does not lead you to her account suggesting that she may have either deactivated or deleted her account.

Bessy and Joe split in 2022 when he departed Impractical Jokers but later reconciled in September 2023. She has not commented publicly since the allegations became known.

Following an initial claim by TikTok user joozyb, another woman, who used to work with Joe Gatto, has come forward to accuse him of being inappropriate. The former employee said that Gatto had engaged in sexually inappropriate behavior while she worked for him, according to an exclusive report from People.

She alleged he was flirtatious, made unwanted advances, asked for back massages, and, on one occasion, had invited her to his hotel room to cuddle.

More about the allegations and Joe Gatto’s response

The source also said Joe Gatto would ask questions about her personal life, including her relationships, and even reportedly got jealous when she posted photos with her boyfriend.

When she would not respond to his advances, she said in her testimony that Gatto would be rude to her in the office, leaving her feeling compelled to act in a certain way to secure her job. She ultimately left the job after two years.

In response to the first allegations by the TikTok user, Joe Gatto released a statement to Page Six, which read:

"I have used poor judgment and as a result have violated the trust of the people I love most. But anyone who knows me at all knows full well that I wouldn’t assault anyone."

Furthermore, he stated that he was working on himself which is an ongoing process, and will take some time away now to focus his energies elsewhere.

In a now-removed series of TikTok videos, user joozyb alleged that Joe Gatto sexually assaulted her in Milwaukee while attending one of his shows in September 2023. She claimed Gatto texted her the directions to his hotel room and when she arrived, a mystery man walked her to the elevator. The alleged assault took place within the hotel.
