Rapper DDG is speaking out against his former girlfriend, Halle Bailey. The "Impatient" singer allegedly claims that Bailey is keeping him away from his 14-month-old son Halo. The news was first reported by TMZ, which shared a screenshot of a now deleted tweet where he made these accusations. He said:

"Been fighting to see my son for months now… shoutout to all the Dads who try their best to be there," he alleged in the post, adding, "this sh*t sucks."

The couple broke up in October and were last seen together celebrating their son's birthday in December. Sharing the news of their break-up, DDG said:

"Dear friends and supporters, after much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways," he wrote. "The decision was not easy, but we believe it's the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we've spent together and the love we shared."

After deleting the tweet, DDG went live on Twitch to explain the situation in greater detail. He explains that he never wanted to make the issue public, but the current circumstances forced him to speak out.

β€œBehind closed doors, I have not been able to see my son. Only if we on perfect terms and she around, it’s cool, but if we not, I don’t get to see him,”

He also added that whenever he sees his son, it is only for a very short period.

"Every time I’m there, he got a smile on his face, he happy to see me, but he only can see me for no more than 48 hours. I haven’t had my son to myself for longer than 72 hours max."

DDG continued:

I really feel like I’m a f**king nanny at this point. The nanny has been able to have my son more than me. And I don’t even know the nanny name. Like, it’s just not fair bro. So I have to come on here and I gotta do this sh*t."

Rapper DDG also dropped a single titled "Don't Take My Son" on YouTube, highlighting the silent ongoing difficulties between the former couple.

The chorus of the song goes like:

Don’t take my son because he’s all I got/I’m just having fun, I don’t love these th*ts."

DDG highlights that Blueface had cautioned him about the possibility of this situation

DDG, whose real name is Daryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., is in the middle of what could be a custody battle with his former partner, Halle Bailey.

These allegations against Halle Bailey have resurfaced a clip from a couple of years ago, in which rapper Blueface seemingly predicted such a situation.

In the 2021 Mukbang livestream, the "Hood Melody" rapper expressed his desire to have a child, and be with someone with whom he can build a lasting relationship. In response to this, Blueface said:

"Sometimes the kids break y'all up. ... She might feel like she got something to hold against, so she gonna be acting different. She might be using the kid to boss you around, to keep tabs on you. And that might cause you to be so stressed out, like, 'Damn b**ch.' ... You know how females are, they petty, bro."

Halle Bailey and her representatives have not yet commented on the matter.
