The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries actress, Candace Cameron Bure, recently celebrated her husband Valeri Bure's birthday. The American actress and talk show panelist also took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of them, which she captioned "A wonderful birthday with my loves (missing @natashabure but here in spirit)!!!" along with a few emojis. You can check out the Instagram post below:

Candace celebrated her husband's birthday with him in Miami. The couple has been married for almost thirty years. They tied the knot on June 22, 1996, and have been together ever since. Candace and Valeri share three children: two sons, Maksim and Lev, and a daughter, Natasha.

As people already have an idea about who Candace is and are familiar with her, however, her husband Valeri Bure's identity remains unknown. Valeri Bure is a Russian-American former professional ice hockey player who played ten seasons in the NHL (National Hockey League). He played as a right winger. The retired ice hockey player was born to Vladimir and Tatiana Bure on June 13, 1974, in Moscow, Russia (which was the Soviet Union at the time).

Valeri belonged to a family that had a noble history, as his ancestors used to make expensive and exquisite timepieces and watches for Russian tsars for over one hundred years, from 1815 to 1917. Valeri's parents separated when he was just 9. He moved to the United States in 1991 with his father and elder brother, Pavel.

After beginning his hockey career in the National Hockey League in 1994, Valerie also played in the KHL or the Kontinental Hockey League, which is Russia's national hockey league. He has played for the CSKA Moscow, Calgary Flames, Florida Panthers, Dallas Stars, and others.

However, the Winter Olympics medalist retired from hockey in 2005 after a back and hip injury. Valeri Bure currently operates a wine company, Bure Family Wines, along with his wife Candace in St. Helena, California.

As we mentioned earlier, Candace and Valerie got married in 1996; however, the couple first came across each other at a charity hockey game in 1994. Interestingly, it was Dave Coulier, Candace's Full House co-star, who introduced her to Valeri. Later, both of them went on a date and within a year got engaged, and then eventually got married.

Candace, who has been married to Valeri for almost thirty years now, has nothing but love and respect for him, and if anything matters to her, then that would be her family. Candace Cameron Bure, in her 2013 book, Balancing It All, wrote:

"My husband is a natural-born leader. I quickly learned that I had to find a way of honoring his take-charge personality and not get frustrated about his desire to have the final decision on just about everything. I am not a passive person, but I chose to fall into a more submissive role in our relationship because I wanted to do everything in my power to make my marriage and family work."
