Is Tanner Buchanan in a relationship? What we know as actor seemingly sparks Mary Mouser relationship speculation

Rumours of actors Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser’s relationship are doing the rounds on the internet. Fans are widely speculating whether the two are engaged after a video of them from the red carpet of Cobra Kai’s series finale went viral. In the video, Buchanan and Mouser can be seen showing off similar engagement rings and kissing for the cameras.

Buchanan and Mouser respectively play Robby Keene and Samantha LaRusso in Netflix’s Cobra Kai (initially released on YouTube) which tells the story of now adult characters of The Karate Kid franchise. Buchanan plays Johnny Lawrence’s son, while Mouser plays Daniel LaRusso’s daughter. Despite the fact that the two characters played by the actors were in a relationship in the series, Buchanan and Mouser themselves have never admitted to being in a relationship in real life.

The nature of Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser’s relationship

Tanner Buchanan has been in Hollywood ever since he was a kid. As a child actor, Buchanan played guest roles in popular sitcoms and shows such as Modern Family, Grey’s Anatomy and Major Crimes. As a lead, Buchanan has acted in He’s All That alongside Addison Rae, and in How To Date Billy Walsh.

Mary Mouser meanwhile has also played guest-starring roles on shows such as NCIS, Monk and CSI. She has also lent her voice to the audiobook Know Your Newlywed alongside Tyler Posey. Mouser was notably diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and has been living with the disease since 2009.

This is not the first time that fans have speculated as to the nature of Buchanan and Mouser’s relationship as the two have shared countless pictures together on their respective Instagram pages, including a trip to Disneyland, Paris. However, the rumoured couple have never released a statement saying that they are in a relationship. The recent viral video of the two flaunting rings and kissing does complicate matters, especially as both Buchanan and Mouser have in the past been in relationships with different people.[

Tanner Buchanan has been in a long-term relationship with fellow actress Lizze Broadway. Buchanan had officially spoken about his relationship with Broadway on Anna Faris’ podcast in 2021. Broadway is from Ohio, which is Buchanan’s home state as well, and the two have been together since they were teenagers. Broadway is best known for her appearance in Gen V, and she also played a role in 2023’s Ghosted. Recently, her film, Kinda Pregnant was released on Netflix.

Lizze Broadway and Tanner Buchanan have largely kept their relationship private and away from social media. In 2021, rumours about the couple breaking up started circulating on social media when the two deleted the few pictures they did have of each other from Instagram. However, when images from their vacation in Italy went viral, the rumours were put to rest. Presently, it is difficult to ascertain whether the couple are still together or not, as they haven’t publicly announced their breakup.

Mouser has also been in a relationship with her long-time boyfriend Brett Pierce who was featured in a small role in ABC’s A Million Little Things. The couple often shared pictures of each other on Instagram in the past, but ever since Pierce has become less active online, fans have not seen the two together. However, like Buchanan and Broadway, Mouser and Pierce have also not formally announced whether or not they have broken up.

The viral clip from the red carpet of Cobra Kai’s finale brings both Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser’s past relationships into question. Only time will tell whether or not Buchanan and Mouser are really in a relationship or if the clip was simply a promotional activity gearing up for the release of Cobra Kai’s final edition.
