For the unversed, Katie Thurston is in a relationship with Jeff Arcuri. The couple shared the news of their engagement on social media in September 2024.

In her post, she penned down a heartfelt note on breast cancer diagnosis and how her life has transformed forever. She noted how her Valentine's Day was unexpected and the opposite of what she imagined it to be.

Instead of traveling the world with her fiance, Jeff Arcuri, and settling in NYC, she spent the day of love finding and coordinating a house as she would need to travel back to LA for testing and treatment procedures in the upcoming days.

She shared how she spent her day scheduling appointments for biopsy, fertility, mental health, and surgery and having a meeting about her treatment plan. She wrote about how she felt envious seeing couples post their Valentine's Day celebrations.

While Katie and Jeff, planned to be globetrotters, her Valentine's Day morning was spent working on insurance for NYC and laws on preexisting conditions.

Katie dedicated a paragraph filled with love and gratitude, to her fiance. She lauded Arcuri for standing behind her like a rock and credited him for his support during her battle with cancer.

"I don’t know how I’d do this without you. The selfless love that you smother me in is beyond anything I imagined I’d be blessed with. I love you to the fullest in this lifetime and the next," penned Kate on her Instagram.
