As former President Joe Biden gets ready to pen the next chapter of his journey, it has been reported that the polarising Delaware-based politician has signed a deal with CAA. The Century City, Los Angeles-based agency is universally respected as the industry leader and boasts an impressive client list ranging from athletes to actors and musicians.

To clear any doubt, NO - Joe Biden is not going to Hollywood to pursue any roles. He is just returning to the firm after signing with them between 2017-2020.

Upon signing the esteemed figure to their firm, CAA co-chairman Richard Lovett released the following statement yesterday,

“President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs. His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again.”

The Hollywood Reporter was quick to point out that Lovett, Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd (his CAA co-chairs) were some of the Democrat’s most ardent supporters in Hollywood during Biden's presidential term. It is also significant the Creative Artists represent a host of other high-profile figures on the left, including former President Barack Obama, and his wife former First Lady Michelle.

No information about his upcoming projects is currently available. While it is doubtful that he will parlay his political career to pivot to something drastically different at this time in his life, it is nonetheless exciting to wonder what may be on the horizon for him.

It is widely known that former President Ronald Reagan spent over 20 years as an actor. He appeared in Hollywood films from 1937 to 1964, which happened to be the same year he energized the conservative movement in the United States. It remains to be seen whether Biden will follow a similar trajectory and try his hand at acting or the arts.

Biden was last seen at incumbent President Donald Trump’s inauguration at the White House on January 20th. There, Biden left office and Washington after 50 years, but triumphantly echoed a strong statement upon his departure "We’re not leaving the fight"

It is noteworthy that the firm first represented the former president from 2017-2020. The firm managed Biden after he served consecutive terms in the White House as Vice-President. During his time with Creative Artists, Biden published his memoir Promise me, Dad. This sparked the 42-day American Promise Tour which resulted in 85,000 tickets sold nationwide.
