Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy has made headlines, but this time, it's less about his controversial business opinions or online presence and more about his personal life.

Recently, Portnoy opened up about his relationship with his ex-wife, Renee Portnoy, revealing that although they have been separated for years, they are still legally married. As speculations around his love life make the rounds, the 48-year-old businessman has also confirmed his relationship with Camryn D’Aloia, whom he has been seen with many times in public in the past.

Still Married, But Not Together

Dave and Renee Portnoy married in 2009 after several years of dating. Although separated, they parted ways on good terms. Furthermore, Dave confirmed earlier that the final divorce papers were not signed.

Dave Portnoy revealed in a recent episode of The Sage Steele Show podcast that while they have been living apart, the couple has been unable to finalize the divorce due to financial complications. He stated:

"We’re still technically married right now, so she still has access. We tried to get a divorce in Massachusetts, denied."

According to Portnoy, when they had tried to get a divorce in Massachusetts, the judge refused, deeming their financial agreement inequitable and therefore invalid. The judge divided Dave’s estimated $150 million fortune in half—an idea that Renee reportedly declined.

Interestingly, according to Dave, this legal conundrum has solidified his trust in his former partner. They continue to share a joint bank account, with Renee reportedly free to pull up his finances at any time. He further stated:

"Her and I have a very fluid relationship with our finances. She’s not like, 'Give me half,' and we’ve been separated legally for a long time... I trust her implicitly."

Although Dave Portnoy’s relationship with Renee has been controversial, both of them seem to have moved on from each other now. Dave confirmed in a recent podcast appearance that he is dating Boston native Camryn D’Aloia.

The news was confirmed after several months of speculation, which started when the pair were spotted together at an NBA game and were photographed sitting together.

Camryn D’Aloia's name came up in the conversation with the Drop A Pin podcast, when Dave recounted the harrowing experience when their boat got stranded in the sea, and had to be rescued by the Coast Guard in Nantucket. He further shared how Cameron played an active part in his rescue.

Before his rumored relationship with Camryn, he was reportedly with model Silvana Mojica for three years before their eventual split in 2023. Mojica took to TikTok to share that Portnoy was the one who had initiated the breakup.
