Last month, the feud rumors between Gwyneth Paltrow and Meghan Markle emerged after the Iron Man actress told Vanity Fair she doesn’t know the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The neighbors living close to one another in Montecitlater shot down the reports with an Instagram story a few weeks back.

The rumors persisted, as Paltrow was asked about them during her recent appearance on The World's First Podcast With Erin & Sara Foster. Sara told Gwyneth,

“The latest one [rumor] is that you and Meghan Markle hate each other, which, by the way, you addressed. Talk about a social media winning moment, the way that you were like, I don't know, do we think this is true?”

The Seven actress gave a stern response to the media and online reports of the beef.

“You know what? I won't be at this point in my life. Like, I won't be a pawn in some drummed-up triangulation of women feud in order for your f***ing clickbait. Leave us out of it. Leave us out of it. Like, don't do that. I will not stand for that.”

Gwyneth Paltrow added,

“I wish Megan nothing but the best. Like it's so great what she's doing. I'm proud of her.Every woman deserves to go into anything that they want to do. Like people need to just check themself out.”

Paltrow had previously told Vanity Fair,

“I don’t know Meghan and Harry. I mean, I’ve met Meghan, who seems really lovely, but I don’t know her at all.”

Later, the Shakespeare in Love actress shared a clip featuring With Love, Meghan star via Instagram Stories to refute the false reports of beef.

Gwyneth Paltrow revealed her “Sliding Doors” moment on Erin and Sara Foster’s podcast

Due to its intriguing plot, the Peter Howitt-directed Sliding Doors became a pop culture phenomenon in subsequent years. The film starred Gwyneth Paltrow and captured two storylines of her character based on a seemingly inconsequential chance – Missing or boarding a train.

In her recent conversation with the Foster sisters, she was asked about her Sliding Doors moment. Sara asked whether marrying Chris Martin was her Sliding Doors moment. Paltrow, who shares two children with the Coldplay member, responded affirmatively and said,

“My kids are everything to me, as all of our kids are. So probably whatever led me to having those particular kids, you're probably right.”

Gwyneth Paltrow also proclaimed that “saying yes to Glee” was her second Sliding Doors moment. She explained,

“I never would have done that [Glee]. You know, I had never done... I was like not really working. I had never done a TV show, even though I grew up doing TV because of my dad. [...] I had never really done a TV show, so I didn't know about doing a TV.”

She said her brother talked her into doing Glee, eventually earning her the “Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series” Primetime Emmy Award for season 2.

During the conversation, Paltrow also confirmed that she had been struggling with osteopenia since her 30s. It also pushed her to do “weightlifting and eat lots of protein” to counteract.
