“I don't think I have ever been as happy as I am right now, everything else in life seems so insignificant now.”

However, the couple’s marriage in the years to follow was marred by rumors and speculations that centered around problems with communication.

Yes, marriages are very hard and I had a particularly rough year…Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health…I don’t know what the future holds but right now my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz. I love you guys and pray for us. Everything will be just fine.”

In the latest episode of The Valley, Kirsten Doute confronted Jax Taylor about the alleged offensive messages that Taylor had sent to his wife. Doute said

;

“Do you know how many times I’ve been with her crying because you called her ugly, fat, told her nobody wants her?…Jax, I’ve read the f------ text messages.”

Jax Taylor’s battles with mental health issues

Kristen Doute's visit to her friend’s place comes amidst the backdrop of a violent act that Jax Taylor allegedly committed.

Taylor did not react well upon learning that his former wife had been engaging in a flirtatious text chat with one of his friends. Taylor, in a rage, had allegedly thrown a coffee table towards a wall at the time.

Taylor confessed that he needed to break out of the cycles of low points that he kept hitting. As per People Magazine, in a confessional interview in The Valley, Taylor said:

“I’m at the point right now, I think everybody can see it, that I’m at the end of the rope here and I need some help”

After the incident, Taylor had committed himself to a mental health clinic for a complete month. As per US Weekly, Taylor shared his experience in the mental health clinic during an episode of the podcast, When Reality Hits:

“When I got there, I f—king hated it. Then I just let myself [take it all in] and then I loved it. I didn’t want to f—king leave. I really, really didn’t. I was so sad leaving. I was crying…I’m like, ‘I don’t want to go.’ I was scared to leave those front doors because I had structure every day.”

As per People Magazine, Taylor’s one-month-long stay at the mental health treatment facility cost $30,000.
