While speaking to Knox News in an interview published on March 18, Dolly Parton revealed the one rule she had for Sabrina Carpenter before hopping on a collaboration of Please, Please, Please remix. Parton revealed that Carpenter had a habit of cussing:

"I told her, I said. Now, I don't cuss. I don't make fun of Jesus. I don't talk bad about God, and I don't say dirty words on camera, but known to if I get mad enough."

Parton's words led to Carpenter changing the "motherf****" from the chorus on the remix to "I beg you, don't embarass me like the others."

When the two artists initially met, Parton posted a clip where she can be seen saying "You'll be this old one day" to the Espresso singer.

Sabrina released the collaboration with Parton on February 14, as part of the deluxe edition of her album Short n' Sweet. While announcing the release of the track, Carpenter took to Instagram to post a preview of the music video with the caption:

"Dolly and me singing in a pickup truck!!!!! I am so honored to have one of my biggest idols on a song that means so much to me. 'Short n' Sweet' deluxe is out now! Go watch and listen!!!! Love you forever @dollyparton (white heart emoji, butterfly emoji.)"

After a few days, Dolly Parton posted a video of Sabrina and her on TikTok from the sets of the music video with the caption, "Two blondes are one thing, a collab with @Sabrina Carpenter is another."

Dolly Parton on wanting to work with Sabrina Carpenter and Miley Cyrus

After working with Sabrina Carpenter for the remix of Please, Please, Please, Dolly Parton now wants to bring her together with Miley Cyrus. A source told Life & Style Magazine:

"Dolly is so impressed by Sabrina, by not only her talent but her humility and work ethic. She thinks Miley would be a wonderful mentor for her and she's making it her mission to link them up."

The insider noted that the first step in making the collaboration happen is to bring Miley and Sabrina together for a "more in depth hang session" in either Nashville or L.A."

Dolly Parton is Miley Cyrus' godmother and has known the artist since she was a baby. Sabrina has also complimented Miley before and had performed at the MileyWorld Superstar Contest before where she got the chance for a meet and greet with the singer.
