Seth Rogen during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show on March 26, looked back at attending the Adele: One Night Only event, and mentioned that he had received an invite for the same with very little information:

"My and my wife we got a call, "There's an Adele concert, do you want to go to an Adele concert? We're like, Yeah, who doesn't f****** want to go to an Adele concert? That sounds fun."

However, both he and his wife ended up smoking marijuana before entering the venue at Los Angeles' Griffith Observatory:

"We did just get incredibly high. We parked there, hotboxed the car and were just like, 'We're going to a concert, it's going to be fun."

The couple got confused when they noticed that the concert wasn't your usual concert, but it was being filmed, and they were in the front rows. The Canadian actor noted that he had never met Adele, and had to keep a straight face at the front row, while he was high:

"I've never met Adele. I've never seen Adele in real life before. I was like, 'How did this happen?' And so the whole time I'm just like, 'Well, I gotta act like I look like an engaged concert-goer throughout this experience."

When Stern joked saying "the guy they kept flashing to in the audience", Seth Rogen noted:

"I think I kept it together, but it was a lot of pressure."

"If Adele, you're watching this, why did you do that?"—asks Seth Rogen

Seth Rogen's recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show isn't the first time he has talked about attending the Adele concert high. During a previous appearance on The Tonight Show, in December 2021, Seth while speaking to Jimmy Fallon recalled attending the concert which was actually for Adele's highly touted, Oprah Winfrey hosted the CBS special to promote her latest album, 30.

Seth Rogen informed Fallon that he had never met Adele and was confused as to why she would invite him to an event where she was inviting "more famous" people than him:

"No, I don't know Adele! And if Adele (if) you're watching this, why did you do that? 'Cause the whole time I was like there are so many more famous people than me here who should be sitting where I'm sitting."

The comedian noted, that he was seated in front of Drake and was very distracted by the fact that he was on camera and tried to "look cool" the whole time.
