"I remember being on the floor"—Kevin Hart recounts the day he 'almost died' day drinking with Seth Meyers

During a recent appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Kevin Hart recalled the time he "almost died" while day-drinking with the host. Kevin Hart remembered the time he last appeared on the show's Day Drinking segment,

"I came into that day with such an idea of who I thought I was. I was like, 'This gonna be crazy. I'm gonna drink with Seth, show him what I do because I know I drink like I used to' - and I almost died. There was really a chance where it was over."

Meyers remembered the incident and responded, saying,

"And then you called me the next morning and yelled at me like I had tried to kill you."

Day Drinking is Seth Meyers' recurring segment on the show, which involves him and his guests getting extremely drunk to say things that they might regret the next day. The segment aims to promote his new tequila brand, Gran Coramino.

"I remember being on the floor, laying on your chest," Kevin Hart says to Seth Meyers

While recalling his appearance on Seth Meyers' Day Drinking segment last year, Kevin Hart detailed the little memory he had of the filming day,

"I remember being on the floor, laying on your chest and not knowing how I got there. And then I remember being in a car and for some reason, all the cheese on the pizza slid off and it was on my stomach."

He then went on to ask why anyone would pay for a pizza with no cheese after the cheese had fallen on his chest. Meyers also seemingly has "no memory" of the episode. In the episode, Meyers asked Kevin if he has ever worked with Jennifer Aniston, to which Kevin responded saying,

"You know what? I have. It was through passing. So when I did Jimmy Kimmel's Diff'rent Strokes, she did Facts of Like, and although we did not share the stage together and have actual dialogue and interact, we shared a block of television for the network."

The question was part of the game plan, where Meyers presented Kevin Hart pictures of various celebrities and quizzed him if he's worked with them or not. If the show's guests get the answer right, Seth takes a sip of tequila, and if they get it wrong, they take a sip.

Later in the episode, the two also played rock, paper, scissors. The Day Drinking segment has been a popular recurring segment since 2015 and has hosted celebs like Rihanna, Kristen Stewart, and Dua Lipa, among others.

Meyers called Hart back for another spontaneous Day Drinking segment at the end of the interview, using a slot machine to determine what kind of drink to make. In response, Hart said,

"So, just to be clear, you're saying that we didn't learn our lesson."
