YouTuber Plaqueboymax is displeased with rapper Drake’s recent remarks about him. It goes back to when the Canadian rapper joined online streamer Adin Ross for the Drizzmas collaboration on December 27, 2024. During the collab, the rapper talked about how Ross would troll him for watching the YouTuber’s live session.
Drake said:
“And I was like watching like Plaqueboymax. I was watching like a live studio session and sh*t and I was like yo Adin would just troll me so hard for watching this. I watched for like an hour.”
Adin Ross replied:
“Told ya bro, he’s really tapped in.”
The YouTuber’s response came while he watched the particular segment of the Drizzmas stream. He immediately paused the video and said:
“One thing I will say. This just me keeping it tall. I don’t like even though it’s like Drake. I don’t like how he said that sh*t. I don’t f*ck with that sh*t at all. How he said he was like, he laughed like ‘I was watching Plaqueboymax’ like what are you laughing at? I don’t f*ck with that sh*t.”
He also mentioned discussing the incident with his cousin. However, it seems this was the second time the YouTuber watched the segment. In a previous video, Max watched the same segment during a livestream, but had a different reaction then.
He said it was a blessing as he was astonished by the idea of the rapper watching him. At that time, Max reacted:
“This a blessing like I genuinely like I don’t know like this is crazy bro. Drake was just sitting and watching us making a song. It’s crazy, it’s crazy.”
Plaqueboymax and DDG released a new music video this year
On January 2, 2025, rapper DDG and Plaqueboymax released a new music video, Pink Dreads, directed by Nick Mays. Fans were super excited when the news about the release was initially announced last year. According to Hotnewhiphop, the track showcased an engaging collaboration, blending DDG's confident wordplay with Max's dynamic style.
Fans have praised the song, calling it one of DDG's best releases. Some described it as his strongest track yet, urging him to keep going despite his critics. Besides the track, what also caught everyone’s attention was when Plaqueboymax cut off his dreads during a live stream.
The YouTuber recently shaved off his dreadlocks during a livestream, stating it was an attempt to improve his hairline. He had the hairstyle for a long time and mentioned maintaining it throughout his time with his current barber.
After switching to a taper fade, Plaqueboymax decided to call other streamers and FaZe Clan members to gauge their reactions. Among those he contacted was FaZe Joshua "YourRage." When asked for his honest opinion, YourRage remarked Plaqueboymax still looked good but his new style gave the YouTuber a generic appearance.
In other news, the Plaqueboymax expressed his wish to stream every day in 2025. However, fans did not appear optimistic about the idea as internet users thought he would be unable to make it past five days of continuous streaming.
