Logan Paul is embracing fatherhood after welcoming his first child, Esmé Agdal Paul, with his fiancée, Nina Agdal. The social media personality and WWE star talked candidly about how his daughter has altered his perspective on life on March 26 at the launch of his Max Original reality series Paul American in New York.

The 29-year-old media personality, showing his love for his family, said:

“I would die for these women”

Logan Paul's priorities have changed as a result of fatherhood, and he no longer prioritizes himself. He acknowledged in an interview with People magazine:

“I’m no longer my first priority. It’s made me less selfish. Prior to Nina, I was No. 1 in my life. Now with Esmé, my daughter, I’ve dropped two rungs down the priority ladder."

Logan Paul continued,

"It’s Esmé, Nina, those are interchangeable – then me. So for the first time in my life, I’m not my first concern. I would die for these women.”

The WWE superstar, who has long been renowned for his self-driven ambition in the field of sports and entertainment, found this to be a significant shift. His words and actions now reflect his commitment to his 'women.'

He also said,

“I haven’t been able to say that about anyone.”

Since their baby was born, Logan Paul's changes have also been noticed by his fiancée, Nina Agdal.

She said,

"He has actually gotten more motivated, I would almost say. He's working really hard, he wants to show her that she can do anything. He's obviously a softy with her, he loves her so much. But he's become very dedicated to pursuing even bigger dreams."

She admitted that it has also changed her as well.

She added,

"I think it's just you realize what's important and [that's] morals and values. I want to be a good example for my daughter and I think the people around me are an example of me. So being around good people with good morals and values is really important to me."

Logan Paul's concerns as a father

Fighting WWE wrestlers is the least of Logan Paul's worries now. While he is enjoying his role as a father, he has voiced concerns about raising a daughter in the modern world. In an interview, he was open about his fears regarding Esmé growing up.

He explained,

"I think whether you have a son or a daughter, like the teenage years generally are like the rebellion. See it's a dog eat dog world out there and there may be a tipping point where your child starts to resent you for XYZ. Maybe they go through a phase that is inherently problematic.

He added,

I mean, I'm a new dad, but I think that when children become teenagers, they start to develop their personality. They feel like they don't need their parents anymore, and with that comes maybe some disconnect, I don't know.”

Baby Esmé bringing the family closer

With his new show, Paul American, premiering on Max on March 27, Logan Paul has mentioned that while rifts have emerged, his growing family seems to be bringing things back together. The show features his father, Greg, his mother, Pam, and his brother, Jake Paul.

In an interview with The Sun, he said,

"This show is great media, but it has caused a few divides in the family, which is bad for us."

Growing up, Logan's dad set him and Jake against one another, but Jake Paul has vowed that his children will never experience that dynamic.

Despite the tensions caused by the show, Logan Paul mentioned that his daughter has helped restore family ties. When asked if Esmé was bringing the family closer, he replied:

“Yeah, oh for sure."

Logan Paul continued by saying,

"My daughter Esme, it was amazing for everyone. But, so did the show, to be honest. There’s been divides, and issues with how the episodes have turned out, some people don't like certain episodes, other people don't like others. It has really brought the family together, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse.”

The couple, who got engaged in 2023 in Italy, have not yet decided on a wedding date. Agdal told People that due to their hectic schedules, their wedding will likely take place next summer.
