Cardi B's ex-husband, rapper Offset, was spotted at New York Fashion Week (NYFW). Photos of him alongside Spanish singer Bad Gyal started going viral online, with some speculating about a possible spark between the two. However, the rapper quickly shut down these rumors, stating "I took a pic with Anna Wintour the same way. I CAME ALONE," on X.
The incident took place on 6 September 2024, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). The event, a celebration of the new streaming membership with Rockefeller Center, brought together some prominent figures, such as Anna Wintour, Doechii, and the Migos rapper himself, who is currently going through a divorce with WAP rapper-singer Cardi B.
Offset just "wants his family back"
In the image now going viral, Offset can be standing next to the singer in a seemingly intimate pose. With her back against him, she donned a black, strapless dress, without much jewelry and had let her long, blonde hair down. The rapper was clad in a white-shirt-black-tie combo with a pair of denims. He also had his shades on, along with gloves.
Fans were quick to react to the whole shindig, with many pointing out how he looked a little "sad," and several others pointing out how pretty the Spanish Dancehall artist was.
"He looks miserable without Cardi," one user pointed out.
"He look sad lowkey tho,,hard to replicate vibes with certain ppl," another echoed.
"BTW She Pretty," one user chimed in.
"something about a untouched face," one user quipped.
Users were quick to go off on Offset's post as well:

Regardless of his explanation, the internet remains divided as some believe that he did ignite something with the singer, while others came to his defense.
Cardi B and Offset call it quits for the last time in July 2024
The I Like It singer and Offset currently share 2 children, Wave and Kulture, with a third one on the way. The on-and-off duo started dating in 2017, before getting hitched in September of that same year. They first called it quits in 2018 but made up not long after. Then, in September 2020, they made the same decision, before giving it another shot. In July 2024, Cardi officially announced her separation from the Migos rapper.
The two reportedly have no bad blood between them, and continue to co-parent their two, soon-to-be three, children. Despite the ongoing divorce proceedings, the two got together to celebrate their son's third birthday, sharing the memories with fans on Instagram.
