Jimmy Warden's Borderline was released on Friday, March 14, 2025, from distributor Magnet Releasing, which is a part of Magnolia Pictures. The film was released in a limited number of screens and competes in its opening weekend with Opus and Black Bag, released on the same day.
Filming for Bordeline took place in Vancouver, Canada, in 2022, and the movie was screened at festivals including the Toronto International Film Festival. The makers have not revealed yet when the film will be released on a streaming platform, though one can watch it as a VOD on the official website of Magnet Releasing.

“One of the first things Jimmy and I talked about was how to make Paul likable — even though the first time you see him, he stabs someone. That was the challenge. We wanted to create a character where, despite everything, you kind of root for him. He’s funny, he’s sweet, and somehow, you start thinking… maybe he and Sofia should end up together.”
