In an exclusive interview with People magazine shared by Yahoo! Life, Olivia shared her plans after her collegiate gymnastics career ends, and opened up on recovering from an avulsion fracture, and preparing for her final NCAA Championship with the LSU Tigers women's gymnastics team.

According to Today, Olivia Dunne, 22, and Paul Skenes, 22, met each other for the first time at Louisiana State University and began dating shortly after. Skenes, an MLB Player for the Pittsburgh Pirates, confirmed his relationship with Dunne in August 2023 in an interview with Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

In conversation with People on her final year competing on the LSU Tigers women's gymnastics team, Dunne shared:

"I'm going to be done with gymnastics, which is a crazy thing to say." She added: "I'm going to have way more freedom..."

She further shared that she is looking forward to spending more time with her boyfriend Paul Skenes, after her collegiate gymnastics career ends. Dunne said:

"I'm super excited to be able to spend time with Paul. I've always had to train during my summers and stuff... So to be able to not have to do gymnastics training and be able to spend more time in Pittsburgh with Paul enjoying the baseball season, I'm looking forward to that."

A report in The Knot confirmed that In August 2023, after Skenes was drafted into MLB in July, he confirmed in an interview with Pittsburgh Post-Gazette his relationship with Olivia Dunne. The couple's year ended with a trip to New York City.

The publication further reported that, after the LSU women's gymnastics team won its first-ever NCAA championship in April 2024, the first person Dunne called to celebrate the victory was her boyfriend Paul Skenes. In July 2024, they made their red carpet debut at the MLB All-Stars Game as a couple.

Throughout their relationship, the duo has also shown support to each other on social media, with either Dunne cheering for Skenes during his MLB debut as a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, or Skenes celebrating Dunne's Birthday with pictures of him and Dunne on his Instagram.
