Zachary Levi, 44, and Maggie Keating, 28 are expecting their first child together. On December 6, the Shazam star and Keating took to Instagram in a joint post to share news of their pregnancy. The post featured a photo of the two cuddling on the beach and a sonogram of their unborn baby whom they affectionately called "little bambino." In the caption, Zachary Levi opened up about how he feels about becoming a dad, saying,

"I've wanted to be a dad since I was literally a kid. I've always felt that call on my life. This desire in my heart. A strange feeling of incompleteness by not having that level of love and responsibility in my journey. That the best years of my life would be on the other side of finally being a father."

He went on to explain that there were things in his life "that needed to shift" before he took on the role of a father and he decided to make those shifts last November.

While describing Maggie Keating he said,

"And very quickly God brought a brilliant, honest, grounded, and deep love into my life thru the angelic form of @maggiekeating. A wonderful woman on the same journey of self discovery and love and ready to step into a new and amazing chapter of life with me."

Levi's announcement comes after his She Loves Me co-star, Laura Benanti in a podcast slammed the Broadway star for making anti-vaxx comments after Gavin Creel's death. While describing Levi, Benanti said that "she never liked him" and that he wanted to "mansplain" everybody's part in the Broadway show. She also mentioned that he's "sucking up all the energy in this room" and accused him of using Creel's memory after his death to allegedly further his political agenda.

Her remarks come after Broadway star Gavin Creel passed away at 48 after suffering from Metastatic melanotic peripheral nerve sheath sarcoma, a type of nerve cancer.
