Author cum influencer Ashley St. Clair took to X earlier today to claim that she gave birth to Elon Musk's 13th child just five months ago.

In her statement, she revealed that she decided to keep the information private for five months out of fear for her child's privacy and safety, but the tabloid's behavior in the last few days has compelled her to divulge the information anyway.

The conservative, 31-year-old influencer captioned her statement with “Alea lacta est,” which is Latin for “the die is cast.”

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” St. Clair wrote.

She went on, calling on the media to refrain from infringing on her and her firstborn child's privacy.

“I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”

Ashley St. Clair has yet to reveal the name and gender of her child. At the time of writing, neither Elon Musk nor his legal representation have responded to the claims. However, the former does follow the social media personality on the platform and has been active on X since she uploaded her bombshell announcement.

In the three hours since she uploaded her announcement, Ashley St. Clair took to X once again to thank her supporters, adding that she would be going off X for a while:

“In all sincerity, appreciate the kind words. Wish I did not feel the need to make a statement. Kids should be off limits for journalists,” she wrote. “Will be spending time with my family & logging off for a while.”
