According to TMZ, the rumored couple who were performing at the Rosement Theatre in Chicago were seen kissing at the end of their performance on Saturday, seemingly confirming the rumors.

The rumors about their alleged relationship have been making the rounds for a few months now. However, neither Alan Bersten nor Emma Slater has confirmed the news.The news of their possible relationship comes after Emma Slater's divorce from her husband, Sasha Farber, who previously was also a contestant on Dancing With The Stars.

Alan Bersten, who recently completed touring as part of the Dancing With The Stars Live 2025 tour, was previously the winner of season twenty eight of the show, a feat he achieved with then dance partner, Hannah Brown.

Alan Bersten had previously dated his fellow Dancing With The Stars contestant, Alexis Ren. The couple met on the dancing competition and were paired together for the twenty seventh season of DWTS back in 2018, where they eventually came fourth.

Their relationship was well documented throughout the season, with a video posted by the showrunners of the reality show, showing Alan Bersten openly addressing his developing feelings for his dancing partner. In the video, obtained by People Magazine, Bersten says to Alexis:

"Last week, some things were said. I’m in a place where, we worked so hard for this amazing journey together, and I’m afraid I will mess that up in some way. But I’ve never had an experience like this. It’s so easy to just hang out with you and have fun and not worry about everything else. I know that you put yourself out there last weekend, and I do have feelings for you. And I really feel like I am falling for you."

In reply, Alexis is seen saying:

"After I opened up last week, I felt a little bit embarrassed. But now that we had this talk this week, I feel really good that everything’s out in the open.”

During another episode, Bersten was heard saying sweet things about Alexis Ren, where he said:

Alexis’ smile lights up the room. You know, she’s funny, she’s kind, she has a huge heart. I want to be 100 percent certain before I tell her how I’m feeling. I have a lot to think about.”

The couple dated for a short time, and eventually broke up by the end of the season due to conflicting schedules. They continued to remain on good terms even after their relationship ended, according to US Weekly.

Apart from this, Alan Bersten was also rumored to be dating fellow Dancing With The Stars alum Paige Vanzant back in 2016, although neither of them confirmed their relationship.
