Wiz Khalifa reportedly makes $2 million per performance and $250,000 for a guest verse on someone else's song.

Earlier this week during an appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast, Wiz Khalifa was asked about his rates during his hitmaking run in the mid-2010s. The rapper mentioned that a lot hasn't changed in the last years, and his paycheck remains the same. Talking about the amount he charged for guest verses then and now, he said:

"They're still the same. 250. "

The rapper meant $250k was his rate for a guest verse, and it didn't include a music video appearance. He then revealed the price for a performance:

"Shows, honestly, go up to two Ms a show. That's because I have worldwide songs. I got stuff that people sing in China or Brazil or New Zealand and Thailand and Germany (and) Norway and stuff like Korea. I'm talking Saudi Arabia. You know what I'm saying."

Wiz Khalifa's verse in See You Again was featured in Furious 7 in 2015, and it topped at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The rapper has been featured on tracks by well known artists including, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, NE-YO, Jamie Foxx, Tove Lo, Joanna "JoJo" Levesque and Dixie D'Amelio among others.

Wiz Khalifa also highlighted that he has seen the music industry switch up on him, depending on how trendy he was at a given time:

"Being in the industry, it's clear when people are or aren't f****ng with you. When they're f****ng wiht you, you're at every party, every show, every this. When they're not f****ng with you, you're calling, and you're like, 'Ay, this party's coming up.' They're like, 'I know, but you don't have an invite this year."

What is Wiz Khalifa's net worth?

Wiz Khalifa has made a name for himself in the music industry, and reportedly has a net worth of $70 million as per Celebrity Net Worth. The rapper, before buying his first major LA real estate, used to live in a $16,000 per month rental in an LA suburb.

In 2019, Khalifa moved with his son, Sebastian, to the Los Angeles suburb of Encino in a $3.5 million contemporary style home, before listing the property for sale for $4.5 million in 2022.

In May 2022, Khalifa bought a newly-constructed home in Encino for $7.6 million. The rapper's earnings majorly come from his music career, through his songs, concerts, performances and guest verses. According to The Guardian, the rapper has also openly admitted to consuming mar*juana and spending $10,000 a month on w*ed in 2010.
