YouTuber MrBeast is quite well-known for trying things out differently. The latest in his endeavors is the pyramids of Giza, which he claimed to have rented out for 100 hours. It came to light after he revealed the same on the Beyond the Record podcast from where the clip went viral. The Youtuber, aka James Stephen Donaldson, said:
“We got all three of the pyramids of Egypt for a 100 hours. I am going to do a video where they let me explore anywhere in the pyramids for a 100 hours. So, we are gonna sleep at the Pyramids all to ourselves.”
Netizens were quick to react to this revelation. While many applauded him for embarking on this adventure, others pondered on the costs. One X user commented,
“How much does that cost.”
While some social media users asked where MrBeast got all the money to rent out the pyramids of Giza, others were surprised to know that they were available for rent.
“Where does he get the money,” a person asked.
“Where does MrBeast get all this money? Renting the pyramids must have cost a pretty penny,” another netizen asked a similar question.
“I didn’t know they were available for rent?” an X user reacted.
Netizens asked why the YouTuber would need to rent out the pyramids of Giza. Others hoped this didn’t compromise their vacation plans.
“What's he recording now?! Why would he need pyramids?” an online user inquired.
“Rich people really can do whatever tf they want, this why we need more Luigis,” a netizen opined.
“i cannot imagine how devestated i would be if i was to travel there only to find out that i can‘t see the pyramids because they are rented for 4 days,” an online commentator noted.
MrBeast said he worked with the Egyptian government to get access to the pyramids of Giza
As seen in the viral clip, the hosts asked the YouTuber how he was allowed to rent the Giza pyramids one of the seven wonders. MrBeast replied that he worked with the Egyptian government. He mentioned that he had never explored the inside of the pyramids saying:
“I wanted to just like find secrets and just go through all the rooms and the tombs and that kind of stuff.”
He added that he would have an expert to guide him in his exploration of the pyramids of Giza. Donaldson continued:
“And then I want them to be like this is the room no one’s seen publicly or whatever.”
MrBeast said he was excited because of the alleged secret corridors that are below the pyramids. Although he didn’t believe in supernatural entities, his friends would carry gadgets to check the presence of ghosts at the pyramids.
In other news, MrBeast accused FaZe Banks of clip farming during his Beast Games show. The incident happened during a segment called the $100K challenge set.
When FaZe clan member Jasontheween was introducing his partner in the contest, FaZe Banks hit his palms and knocked food out of his hands. MrBeast then asked him to leave the set but that was entirely pun intended and nothing serious happened.
