The 50 First Dates star recently made a big revelation on The Drew Barrymore Show. She spoke candidly about getting ignored by a man who recently went out to dinner with her.

Drew Barrymore, who has been married thrice, revealed that the date happened recently after the person asked for her number. The actress hinted that the first date went well, so she texted the man, only to get ghosted. Without naming the guy, Barrymore told her co-hosts, Ross Mathews and Valerie Bertinelli,

“Since then [the first dinner date], I texted him, and I was like, 'Lovely to see you again the other night.' We went back and forth twice, and then he ended with, 'Haaaaa.' And I haven't heard anything.”

Drew Barrymore added,

“It just happens. I don't know why… I would never do that. It doesn't cross my mind to behave like that. Like, if you put a fishing pole in it, why are you not going to follow through?”

The Charlie’s Angels actress noted everyone goes through ghosting. She addressed the audience and said,

“It does happen to all of us – the best of us – [including] good people who wouldn't treat other people like that.”

Drew Barrymore, who was linked with many celebrities throughout the ‘90s and the 2000s, hasn't been very public about her dating life since her third divorce in 2016. Read on to learn more about her relationships over the years.

As mentioned, The Wedding Singer actress has dated many notable Hollywood names, from Luke Wilson to Justin Long. The Drew Barrymore Show host was 14 when she was linked with Corey Feldman (then 17). Both even attended the 61st Academy Awards together, something which the actress recounted on her show decades later. Barrymore said,

“I just threw on a cotton Betsey Johnson dress off the rack. I remember getting there [61st Oscars] and seeing people in such designer duds, and I remember looking around thinking, 'Oh, I'm very underdressed.'"

Drew Barrymore, who hosted Feldman as a guest on her show, also said,

“We had so much fun, but we were more hedonistic. A little more immature. We would get together, we would break up. It was chaos. It was hella fun.”

On the show, Corey also remembered how he and Barrymore went on a playdate years before they actually started dating.

After Feldman, Barrymore was linked with actor Balthazar Getty when both were 15. Their relationship went on for a few months. After breaking up with Getty, the then-16-year-old Ever After actress was linked with Leland Hayward III (24 at the time). They were engaged for a brief period before parting ways in 1991.

Drew reportedly had a short fling with Corin Nemec and was linked with David Arquette. The actress denied dating her Never Been Kissed co-star years later during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show. Despite the denial, Arquette maintained that he dated Barrymore and spoke on PeopleTV's Couch Surfing,

“We also dated, but she denied it on Howard Stern… But, we dated, Drew!”

The 50-year-old actress entered a serious relationship with Jamie Walters in 1992. The couple was engaged and planning to get married but broke up to focus on their respective careers. Walters spoke to The Sun in 2024, revealing,

“I was living in an apartment in Hollywood, and then I met Drew Barrymore, and she and I ended up living together and were engaged for a little while.”

The former actor spoke about how Barrymore has always been “super nice” whenever they meet. He also told the tabloid,

“I'd love to reconnect with her but I think both of our lives [are busy] once you start having kids.”

Drew Barrymore was 19 when she married her first husband, Jeremy Thomas, but they filed for divorce after 19 days, which was finalized in 1995. She later claimed that Thomas married her for his green card and even called him “the devil” in a Rolling Stone interview.

Following her first divorce, Drew Barrymore dated Eric Erlandon and Luke Wilson, respectively. Addressing her relationship with Wilson, the actress revealed on her talk show,

“I was dating him, but I think he was also dating other people. It was an open relationship. We were young.”

She later started a relationship with her Charlie's Angels co-star, Tom Green. They got engaged in 2000 and married a year later. Green reportedly filed for a divorce after a few months, which was finalized in 2002.

She went on to date Fabrizio Morretti after the divorce. The relationship lasted five years before the Strokes drummer and the He's Just Not That Into You actress split. While they were still dating, Drew Barrymore described her dynamic with Morretti as “the most positive relationship” in a chat with People. Even after they broke up, the Hollywood icon told the magazine,

“[It was] one of the most, if not the most, important relationships… We're still very close."

Barrymore dated Justin Long on and off before they ended their relationship in 2008. The 50-year-old actress was also linked with Spike Jonze and Zach Braff, but the relationship was never publicly confirmed.

In 2011, Drew Barrymore started dating Will Kopelman, and they married a year later. They share two daughters but divorced in 2016. Years later, the actress opened up about her split in an interview with People. She told the magazine,

“There was no scandal. Nothing went wrong, which is cleaner, but makes it harder and more confusing because there isn’t The Thing to point to. We tried so hard to make it work. [A friend] said to me, ‘Divorce is the death of a dream.’ That’s exactly what it feels like, something so final you can’t get it back.”

In a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress confessed,

"Everything to me was very devastating and took me a long time to recover from if it wasn't in the traditional family dynamic that I swore I would do for my family because I did not grow up that way."

Since her divorce, Drew Barrymore hasn’t publicly dated anyone.
