During an appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends, Scarlett shared rare details about her twin brother, Hunter Johansson, with host Jenna Bush Hager who also has a twin sibling.

Scarlett Johansson shared a story about how she and her brother struggled to find souvenirs with their names on them as children,

"A couple of years ago, we were in Montauk out in Long Island and we were at one of those surf shop places, and there were two mini keychain surfboards. One said Scarlett, and then we found Hunter, and I legit think we cried."

She went on to add,

"We bought them and we looked at each other and it was like, 'They see us.'"

According to an interview with the Observer, Hunter worked as a community organizer for Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer's office in New York and Barack Obama's presidential campaign in 2008.

Hunter has also contributed philanthropically by working for the "Friends of Rockaway," a community organization in Queens, New York. Scarlett Johansson's fraternal twin has accompanied her to several red-carpet events to show support for the actress.
