Toni Braxton, the Grammy Award-winning R&B legend, is a proud mother of two boys, Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis and Diezel Braxton-Lewis. She had them with her ex-husband and fellow musician Keri Lewis.

Her eldest son’s name was supposed to be spelled “Denham,” but because of a mispronunciation at the hospital, the couple decided to change it to “Denim.”

Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis gained a passion for sports at a young age and has played basketball throughout his high school. He graduated in 2020 and then studied sports management at Grand Canyon University. But he soon turned his attention to the fashion world and studied at the Fashion Institute of Merchandising and Design.

Denim graduated successfully in March 2025, which was a proud moment for him and his family. Toni Braxton marked the occasion with an emotional Instagram post; she posted photos of the whole family including Denim’s father, Keri Lewis. She captioned the post writing:

"My first born @denimbraxton, is officially a college graduate! Words can’t even express how proud I am of you! I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do!"

Denim has also stepped into the modeling industry outside of school. He has modeled for multiple fashion shows, including Marcell Von Berlin’s Spring 2022 runway in Los Angeles, as well as in a campaign for Diesel with his younger brother.

Toni's youngest son, Diezel Ky Braxton-Lewis, was diagnosed with autism by age three, motivating Toni Braxton to become a powerful advocate for autism awareness.

Diezel followed many interests as he matured. At just age 9, he appeared in the Lifetime movie Twist of Faith. Diezel graduated from his private high school in Los Angeles in 2021 and later enrolled at Howard University.
