Martin Lawrence’s eldest daughter, Jasmine Lawrence is now engaged to Eddie Murphy’s son, Eric Murphy! The couple shared the news on their Instagram handles. In the romantic post, Eric and Jasmine, walk into a room lit with glittery candles and roses. In another shot, Eric kneels before Jasmine to pop the question against the backdrop of a big red heart.
“We’re engaged!! God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny. We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter ❤️❤️ Special thank you to everyone who made this moment so beautiful!!” The caption read.
According to the post, the proposal took place on November 27. However, the couple announced the news on December 1.
Their engagement has brought additional attention to Martin Lawrence’s family. The Bad Boys actor has three children from two marriages – Jasmine Page Lawrence, Iyanna Faith Lawrence, and Amara Trinity Lawrence.

His eldest daughter, Jasmine was born to Martin and his ex-wife, Patricia Southall on January 15, 1996, after he tied the knot with the former Miss Virginia USA in 1995. She appeared in Bad Boys for Life, the sequel to the 2020 film - Bad Boys II.
