Hilaria Baldwin is speaking out about her decision to get a breast lift after giving birth to her and Alec Baldwin's children.
During the April 6 episode of The Baldwins, the 41-year-old reflected on her decision to go under the knife, conceding that it's because of the changes she's noticed in her body since she gave birth.
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin got hitched in 2012, and since then, they have welcomed seven children: Carmen, who is 11; Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo and María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 2. Alec is also the father of Ireland, his daughter, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

During the episode, Hilaria Baldwin shared that since she was "breastfeeding for so long, it was one of these things I decided to do, like, a little up." She went on:
“I've been pregnant and/or breastfeeding for over a decade. I think this is the first time that I've not been pregnant and/or breastfeeding since I've started having kids,” she said in a confessional. “I got used to my body more or less a certain way than as most women know who breastfeed and the milk goes out, it's a different, much lower reality. It almost felt like my body wasn't my body anymore, because I was so used to my body being a certain way.”
She also shared that "It was just to make myself feel okay, and that's okay." Hilaria Baldwin conceded that she sometimes worries about getting any cosmetic procedure done on herself because of the impact it might have on her 11-year-old daughter, Carmen, adding that she herself has given in to societal pressure in the past:
"I worry about Carmen. She's a tween. Every time I do something that is in the realm of vanity, I don't want them to feel that they (the children) have to be a certain way and I want to protect Carmen. Because I've experienced a lot of self doubt and listened to the criticism more than I should have from opinions."
The yoga guru and wellness author has long been a vocal advocate of body positivity and mental well-being. Back in 2018, she took to Instagram to share a raw photo of herself in a bikini, celebrating body-acceptance and calling on all women to do the same.
“I opened up about growing up with an eating disorder. I turned to yoga, health and wellness to heal my body and my mind,” she said, referencing her 2016 book The Living Clearly Method. “I think back to my old self and how much I would have struggled with gaining weight during pregnancy and being patient with healthfully losing it. I’m so happy I can be a strong and happy mommy now, completely accepting of my body,” she added.
Hilaria Baldwin later shared on her Instagram story how she has improved her relationship with her body:
“I have found that being healthy is about not focusing on weight and rather on how I feel, how strong I am, and how healthy I am,” she said at the time.
The Baldwins goes on air on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
