Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were married for 13 years before they called it quits in 2016. The two were considered to be the "It" couple of the music industry because of their successful careers. They met in 1995 when No Doubt, the band Stefani has been a part of, opened for Rossdale's Bush.
After a whirlwind romance, the duo tied the knot in 2002 and started a new chapter of their lives in Los Angeles. However, in 2015, they separated and a year later their divorce was finalized. The former couple share their three sons: Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 11. Their legal separation resulted in joint custody of the three children.
While the parents of three do not often talk about their personal lives in public, they do share some photos of their kids on social media.
While the two have now moved on with their lives with Gwen Stefani marrying Blake Shelton and Gavin Rossdale dating singer Xhoana X, last year the latter mentioned that he feels "bad" for his kids.
During his appearance on the Amy & T.J. podcast, the Bush frontman shared how he also came from a "broken home" and did not want his kids to face the same. He said,
"I wish I could have found a way to not have that in their lives. It wasn't fun for me to come from a broken home...it can be quite debilitating for kids...the overriding thing is you don't want to let your kids down."
He further added that it would be "nice" if he had a connection with Gwen Stefani, his ex-wife, for their children.
"The biggest thing would be when you see the kids that sometimes there's a loss. It'd be nice if there was more of a connection with the person who made them with me."
For the unversed, at the time of their divorce, Stefani accused Rossdale of allegedly having a three-year-long affair with their kids' nanny Mindy Mann as reported by The New York Post.

A year after the previous interview about his personal life, Gavin Rossdale has once again opened up about his divorce from Gwen Stefani. This time, he talked about how it was difficult to look after his three children when it was his turn. He went through the parenting time with the help of his friend Jack McBrayer.
Rossdale, during his recent appearance on Jesse Tyler Ferguson's podcast Dinner's On Me, revealed that McBrayer was by his side whenever he had the kids with him. Moreover, the 30 Rock star also attended holidays with them.
"What's so sweet about Jack is since I got divorced and was raising the kids on my own, he's come to every Christmas and Thanksgiving that I do with my kids."
However, the help also came at a price as McBrayer jokingly sent him an invoice for his time.
