Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki is pregnant with her third child.

Caroline, 34, shared on Instagram that she is expecting her third child with ex-NBA star husband David Lee. The post features a family photo at the beach featuring herself, Lee, and their two kids, Olivia, 3, and James, 2. Olivia can be seen holding ultrasound images of the baby,

"Officially switching to zone defense! Our family couldn't be more excited to welcome baby #3 soon!"

This news comes after Caroline retired from tennis in 2020. While she made a comeback in 2023, Caroline has been absent since last year's US Open, due to her ongoing battle with rheumatoid arthritis. She withdrew from the 2025 Australian Open a week before the start of the tournament, but made a surprise appearance on the opening night to present trophies.

More about Caroline Wozniacki's children

Caroline Wozniacki shares two children with her husband of four years, David Lee. The couple tied the knot in June 2019, with the tennis star announcing retirement from pro tennis in 2020. While announcing her retirement, Caroline noted that she wanted to start a family in the future,

"I've always told myself, when the time comes, that there are things away from tennis that I want to do more, then it's time to be done. In recent months, I've realized that there is a lot more in life that I'd like to accomplish off the court. Getting married to David was one of the goals and starting a family with him while continuing to travel the world and helping raise awareness about rheumatoid arthritis are all passions of mine moving forward."

Caroline and David welcomed their first child, Olivia, in June 2021, and their second child, James, in October 2022. While she was pregnant with Olivia, Wozniacki, in an interview with Citibank, revealed how she would want to raise her daughter,

"For me, it's so important to let her know that her gender doesn't determine whether or not she can be what she wants to be."

After giving birth to James, Caroline, while speaking with Today, noted that she was "in the gym" during both pregnancies, and it was after James' birth that she realized her desire to make a comeback to the court.

In June 2023, Caroline told Vogue in an interview that she was making a comeback and tweeted that she "still has goals" before bidding goodbye to the sport.

The tennis player made it to the third round of 2023's US Open by beating two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova.
