Bruce Glover, a veteran character actor, died earlier this month. His son, Crispin, confirmed the news of Glover’s passing on X and Instagram by posting multiple pictures of the James Bond star.
According to Variety, Bruce is survived by his sons, Crispin and Michael Leigh Glover.
The Diamonds Are Forever actor was 92 at the time of his passing. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Marion Elizabeth Lillian "Betty" Krachey. Betty and Bruce Glover were married from 1960 until 2016, when the former passed away.
They raised the Back to the Future star, Crispin Hellion Glover, together. In a 2019 interview with The Original Van Gogh’s Ear Anthology, Bruce Glover spoke about his late wife,
“She was a brilliant woman. And she grabbed me and made me marry her, Betty. And I miss her every day. We had fifty-six years of marriage and it’s three years almost now since she died. And she dies every day as far as I am concerned. I will never not miss her every minute. I mean I miss her every day.”
Before marrying Betty in 1960, Bruce Glover was reportedly married to Constance Jeanette “Connie” Overstake, according to IMDb. They apparently had a son, Michael “Mike” Leigh Glover, together. However, at the time of writing, there isn't much that is known about Mike.
