Brian Wilson's daughter Carnie Wilson recently appeared on American Idol alongside her daughter, Lola Bonfiglio, and her sister, Wendy Wilson, to support Lola during her audition for the show.
Carnie and Wendy Wilson are two of Brian Wilson's seven kids. For the unversed, Brian Wilson was a member of the popular boy band, The Beach Boys.
On the March 23 episode of American Idol, Lola Bonfiglio appeared on the stage with her father, Rob Bonfiglio. When Carrie Underwood, one of the judges, asked what she was performing, Lola called in her mom and aunt, and the family performed the song Hold On by Wilson Phillips (a group of which Carnie and Wendy are a part). Later, Laura also did a solo performance on the song Rainbow by Kacey Musgraves.

Brian Wilson is a founding member of The Beach Boys (formed in the year 1961). Coming to the singer's family affairs, the 82-year-old musician was married to his first wife, Marilyn Wilson-Rutherford (nee Rovell) from 1964 to 1981 (she took the name Rutherford from her second husband).
Marilyn was also a singer and was part of the three-part girl group The Honey formed in 1961 and American Spring (1971 – 1973). Marilyn and Brian met in 1962 and got married in 1964. About four years later, in 1968, Marilyn gave birth to Carnie Wilson, and in 1969, Wendy was born.
Wilson married Melinda Kae Ledbetter (who was his manager from 1986 to 1989) in 1995, and the two remained married until Ledbetter's death in January 2024. The couple adopted five kids together Dakota, Daria, Delanie, Dylan, and Dash. According to reports, after Melinda Ledbetter and Wilson got married, they wanted kids but since Melinda was already 48, they decided to adopt kids.
Wilson's adopted kids have stayed away from the limelight. However, Wendy and Carnie followed in their parents' footsteps and entered the entertainment industry. The sister duo along with their friend, Chynna Phillips, formed the vocal group Wilson Phillips in 1989.

Besides singing both Carnie and Wendy have also appeared in a handful of shows. The two sisters have shared that their mother tried to keep their childhood normal. The two have also talked about having a difficult relationship with their father while growing up. Both Carnie and Wendy are now married with children.
Carnie married Rob Bonfiglio in 2000 and has two daughters, Lola (2005) and Luciana (2009). As mentioned above, Lola, recently auditioned for American Idol. Wendy Wilson married record producer Daniel Knutson in 2002 and has four kids, Leo(2003) and Will(2004), and twins Beau and Jesse(2007).
