The post features photos of Selena's hand with a ring on it, more photos of the singer-actor smiling while sitting on a picnic blanket, a photo of her smiling while showing off the ring, and another of Benny Blanco kissing her forehead as she shows off the ring.
After news of her engagement made waves on social media, a tweet comparing Hailey Bieber's engagement ring to Selena's has gone viral on X.
The tweet mentions that Hailey Bieber's engagement ring costs $265k, which is four times more than Selena's which allegedly costs $70k.
After the tweet went viral, netizens took to the comment section noting that the cost of the engagement ring hardly matters and that Selena is far richer than both Justin Bieber and Benny Blanco.

Although the price of Selena Gomez's engagement ring has not been revealed, the ring features an oval-cut massive diamond in the middle. It also has a diamond band with tiny diamonds encrusted onto the band holding it together.
Hailey Bieber's engagement ring, on the other hand, is a solitaire ring that was designed with the help of jeweler Jack Solow from Solow & Co. in 2018. The custom ring features a large oval-cut diamond set on a gold band.
Six years after the engagement, Hailey confirmed that Justin had upgraded her ring, to a carat bigger than the original. In July 2024, Hailey while talking about the ring said,
"Actually, this is only one carat bigger. It's just elongated. They're going off with their own stories about it."
