Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez were engaged for two years before they ended their engagement in March 2021, as per PEOPLE Magazine. The couple was together for two years before getting engaged.
Jennifer Lopez's wedding planner, Marcy Blum, during an appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast on December 26, revealed that she was shocked when she learned how much Bruno Mars would reportedly charge to perform at Lopez and ex-fiancé Alex's wedding.
Blum said,
"We were working with J.Lo and A-Rod before they broke up, and they were going through a list of musicians, and she goes, 'What about Bruno Mars?'
Blum recalled talking to Lopez and telling her that she had just worked with the artist on another wedding, and he charged $5 million for the entire performance, which only lasted 45 minutes to an hour. After hearing the rate, Blum said, Lopez replied, saying,
"Don't be ridiculous!"
Blum also mentioned that she was able to mention the incident, since she "never signed an NDA" while working with Rodriguez and Lopez post-breakup.

In April 2017, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jennifer Lopez revealed that
"I was having lunch somewhere and I saw him as he passed by. Afterwards, I went outside, and for some reason I felt like tapping him on the shoulder."
The singer revealed that Rodriguez then texted her, and they began dating.
In October 2017, the couple moved in together. They attended the Met Gala together in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Rodriguez took to his social media account in March 2019 with a photo of Jennifer Lopez wearing an engagement ring as he held her hand with the caption, "She said yes."

Recently, while speaking to comedian Nikki Glaser in a cover story for Interview magazine, published on October 9, the singer said that she is "not looking for anybody" following her split from estranged husband Ben Affleck, whom she married in July 2022.
