How did Amanda Kloots and Justin Gimelstob meet? What we know amid relationship debut

Amanda Kloots recently made her red carpet debut with her boyfriend, Justin Gimelstob, marking her first public appearance with a new partner since the passing of her ex-husband Nick Cordero. The couple stepped out together at the Unforgettable Evening gala at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

As per a recent article by People, the television personality and athlete is dating retired tennis champion Justin Gimelstob, who confirmed to Parade that the two are dating and revealed that they met during an F1 race in Las Vegas Kloots, however, told People it wasn't until one and a half years later that they went on their first date:

“We’ve been dating for a year, she just didn’t know it.” Gimlestob told the publication “I saw her a couple of years ago at the F1, and I was like, ‘I have to meet that woman, but it was tough to do.’ I finally figured it out.”

She also described her relationship as quite new and in the courting stage. She added:

"It's been absolutely lovely," Kloot further mentions that they are currently in "courting" phase and further says that "I hope to never leave that stage."

Kloots also highlighted the role of mutual friends in felicitating the relationship. She stated that she had introduced Gimelstob as a friend to her 5-year-old son, Elvis, whom she shared with her late husband, Nick Cordero. Elvis Cordero was born in June 2019.

Nick Cordero died in July 2020 due to severe health complications from Coronavirus.

Amanda Kloots looked back on her last moments with her late husband Nick Cordero, and she regretted leaving her husband at the hospital three years ago.

As per an article by People, Kloots marked her third anniversary of the day she brought Cordero to the hospital in Los Angeles. Kloots took to Instagram and shared a heartbreaking post where she regretted not spending enough time with her husband.

Nick Cordero, a Broadway star and a Tony Award winner, passed away in July 2020 at the age of 41 after battling complications from COVID-19 for over 90 days.

"Three years ago today we took Nick to the emergency room at Cedars Sinai. March 30, 2020 is a day that is engrained [sic] in my brain forever as it's the last day I had with my husband. Kloots wrote on the Instagram post. "There are days in my life I wish I could go back in time to and this is one of them."

Kloots further highlighted that she learned her lesson from the experience:

"I've learned to always tell people you love them. I've learned that life is fragile and we are not invincible. Live and love to the fullest."

Nick was born on September 17, 1978, in Canada and was popular for acting in Going in Style, Unpregnant, and Dan Juan. In the year 2014, he was nominated for a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award for his role in Bullets Over Broadway, and he earned the Outer Critics Circle Award and a Theatre World Award.

Kloots also commemorated her second death anniversary on social media by posting a series of photographs along with Justin Bieber's song Ghost with it.

She concluded the post by writing:

"I love you, honey, I miss you more than life."
