Hilary Duff’s husband Matthew Koma calls out online trolls over criticising wife’s appearance

The celebrity life is not easy, as it comes with its disadvantages, and recently, it was Hilary Duff on the receiving end of demeaning online comments. However, Duff had her husband, Matthew Koma, on her side, who did not take the time to shut the trolls down.

Duff, who has more than 26 million followers on Instagram, recently shared a carousel of photos on the platform. In the photos, she wore a yellow outfit with minimal earrings. She pulled off her blonde hair with nude makeup.

While many of her followers swooned over her new photos, an Instagram user claimed that she had Botox. The user wrote:

"Why did she do Botox, I swear to god everyone else is the same."

While Duff did not respond to the troll, her husband did:

"Get f**d, butterfly," Koma wrote.

Matthew Koma's response in favor of his wife, Hilary Duff, drew massive attention from her fans. While many praised him by liking his comment, some also replied to Koma's comment, as one of them wrote:

"@matthewkoma second that. Tell your wife hello from a fan."

Besides the troll, many fans praised Duff for her look. Others also asked her about her next album and whether its name is Yellow.

While the How I Met Your Father actress didn't address the claim on her post, she once talked about cosmetic surgeries. In 2022, during an interview with Women's Health, she spoke about such treatments and said:

"We bust our a** to get our bodies in shape and to look the best we can. We get facials and Botox and our hair done and highlights and brows and lash lifts and all this s***. But I want to work on the inside," she said. "That's the most important part of the system."

Duff also often talks about the importance of skincare and how she follows a routine to keep her skin healthy. She has also had a facial called Aquagold earlier this year.

Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma did not have a usual love story, as they also faced several bumps. Duff was earlier married to former Ice Hockey player Mike Comrie, and their divorce was finalized in 2016. The former couple shares a son, Luca. While she was still married to Comrie, the singer and actress met Koma in 2013 when she was working on her album, Breathe In. Breathe Out.

Duff and Koma did not immediately get along, but they got together in 2015, a year after she separated from her first husband. However, their romance at that time did not last long, as in March 2017, they were briefly separated. A few months later, the couple got back together and confirmed that things were great between them.

In June 2018, they announced their first pregnancy, and later, in October, Hilary Duff revealed that she and Koma welcomed daughter Banks Violet Bair. After dating on and off for a few years, Matthew Koma proposed to Lizzie McGuire actress in May 2019. By the end of that year, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in their backyard. Since then, the couple has also welcomed daughter Mae, James Bair, and son, Townes Meadow Bair.

Hilary Duff also ensures to take breaks from work to spend time with her family. Her Instagram profile is filled with loving pictures of her children and husband.
