Reports suggest that Snow White has been made on a budget that ranges from $240-270 million, excluding the marketing cost. While the fee of Rachel Zegler is unknown, Collider has reported that Gal Gadot was paid around $20 million to portray Evil Queen. Now, the general rule says that a film needs to make at least twice the amount spent on its production in order to become a financial success.

Given the budget, Snow White will need to make somewhere around $540 to $675 million on the ticket window. The film was released on 4200 screens but has underperformed at the box-office. It managed to collect $16 million on its first day of release.

In the United States, its first-weekend collection stood at $43 million. If we add its international collections, the figure rises to $87 million. This collection is lower than many Disney film openings. While the film is still playing in theaters, it will not be easy given its big budget and the bigger amount needed for breakeven.

However, its mixed to negative critical response will not help generate higher numbers. It has an IMDb rating of 1.5/10 and a CinemScore of B+. Meanwhile, several controversies around the film have also affected its image.

The film is written by Erin Cressida Wilson and directed by Marc Webb. The producers of the film include Jared LeBoff and Marc Platt. It revolves around the titular princess who teams up with a group of dwarves and a bandit to free and reclaim her kingdom run by the evil queen. Here is a list of its cast members (including voice actors):

  • Rachel Zegler as Snow White
  • Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen

  • Patrick Page as Magic Mirror's voice
