"He talking about Drakes career" — Internet reacts to Kanye West dropping a mysterious audio message on his Instagram Stories

Rapper and record producer Kanye West has a history of surprising everyone with Instagram posts. On December 28, 2024, the rapper shared a cryptic audio on his Instagram story, which seems to have baffled everyone. The audio narrated:

“Come on man, you know that sh*t is hosed down. You know that sh*t mopped, sh*t scrubbed.”

The rapper did not mention anything about the audio’s context, but netizens got that covered after the X account ‘Kurrco’ shared the audio on social media. As many X users provided speculations, one person commented:

“He talking about drakes career.”

Social media users suggested that it was typical Kanye West behavior. X users claimed he might be calling someone by name or criticizing a rapper.

“Kanye being Kanye,” a netizen reacted.

“He’s either calling someone a h*e or another rapper washed,” a social media user pointed out.

Many netizens pointed out that Kanye West was possibly talking about Playboi Carti's leaked music while jeering at him.

“Us in the yeezy camp know what’s up get ready #bullysoon #moppedup,” an online user remarked.

“Damn he didn’t hold back about GNX,” an internet user opined.

“I think he dissing Carti,” another netizen suggested.

“He's talking about Carti's album #2027MUSIC,” an online commentator claimed.

Kanye West’s X account was banned previously

Kanye West’s X account was suspended in 2022 after he violated the social media platform’s rules. He allegedly posted threats against Jewish people. Elon Musk, the social media platform’s owner, said the rapper violated the platform’s rule against incitement to violence.

The rapper shared posts, one of which allegedly had an image of Swastika and the Star of David. He was also banned from X and Instagram before this incident after he reportedly shared antisemitic messages. The posts were subsequently removed from the platforms. One of Kanye West’s X posts read:

“I'm a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I'm going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE The funny thing is I actually can't be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”

He also wore a sweatshirt with the words ‘White Lives Matter’ written at a 2022 party. He allegedly called the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement a scam, claiming the movement was already over. Nevertheless, the rapper shared a message for the Jewish people, apologizing for any harm his words or actions may have caused.

He emphasized that hurting their sentiments was not his intention and acknowledged the need to reflect and learn from the experience. Kanye West committed to fostering greater sensitivity, understanding, and unity moving forward, seeking forgiveness, and aiming to make amends.
