Recently, Amanda Seyfried spoke with People Magazine about an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards. She recalled how her dress began falling apart while she was chatting with Glen Powell at the event. Reflecting on the awkward moment, the 39-year-old Hollywood star shared,

"My b**bs fell out of my dress at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards."

She added that she was having a wonderful conversation with Glen at the award ceremony when she suddenly realized the malfunction:

"I was talking to Glen Powell in the corner near my table, and we were joking around about something and I lifted my arms up, and my b*obs were just out. My dress fell apart."

"I was wearing this amazing vintage dress. I made my stylist dress up in it before I went just for fun."

Renowned celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart dressed Amanda Seyfried for the red carpet. Unfortunately, the dress didn’t just make her uncomfortable while speaking with Powell—it posed multiple challenges, with several moments where it seemed to be ripping. She further recounted,"

"It was kind of sewn together and it started truly falling apart, literally falling off of me on the red carpet, and I think there were even interviews where I’m saying it’s breaking off."

However, things took a turn for the worse when her dress fell apart. Glen Powell came to her rescue at the exclusive event, helping her cover up. Appreciating the Anyone But You actor and calling him a 'gentleman,' the Mamma Mia! actress added,

"We both screamed, and like the gentleman he is, he covered me. He didn’t look… I think. None of us were expecting that, but that dress had truly just given up."

In a red carpet interview with Access Hollywood, Amanda Seyfried talked about her struggles with the vintage piece.

"It keeps breaking. I'm not kidding, it's literally ripping apart."

Amanda Seyfried won the Best Actress in a Movie/Miniseries award at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards for her portrayal of Theranos scammer Elizabeth Holmes in The Dropout.

As she adjusted her gown from the back and right shoulder, she appeared both uneasy and graceful while making her way to the stage to accept her award from presenters Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller.

Later, The Dropout team took the stage to accept the award for Best Limited Series. Amanda rejoined them, now sporting a black leather jacket and letting her hair down to complete her look.

While accepting the prestigious award, she humorously remarked that she had to borrow someone else's jacket—otherwise, 'it would have been just my breasts.'
